A picture of the inside of the new building being built at the Tanfield site

Our Tanfield site was acquired in July 2022 to support iPac’s rapid growth. Phase 1 (warehousing) was completed in Q4 2022, doubling our storage capacity, and we are pleased to announce that work is well underway on production areas.

Work on our new production space began at the start of 2023 with changes to the factory layout providing an enclosed high-hygiene production area, a brand new floor, electrical installation, and air and chilling systems.

The facility will soon have 4 fully functioning production lines, allowing us to continue to support existing customers and grow our customer base further.

Since our establishment just 6 years ago, iPac has grown to an annualised turnover of £20 million and we now employ over 75 people.

This new facility is a crucial investment for iPac, providing the additional capacity required to meet the demand of our ever-growing customer base.

So far in 2023, we have continued to expand, onboarding 18 new team members and launching over 25 new products.

We are currently in the process of recruiting Production Packers and Thermoforming Operators who will be based at the brand-new Tanfield production facility.

We expect production to commence at the start of Q4 this year and we will continue to update our customers as work progresses.
